What is a good PSLE score in Singapore?
A PSLE Score of 4 to 20 places a child in Posting Group 3 (the most academically demanding track, equivalent to the former Express stream). Scores around 6 to 12 are competitive for popular schools, and a total of 4 to 8 is in range for the most sought-after Integrated Programme schools.
"Good" depends on the school
Because secondary schools are now banded by Posting Group rather than ranked, the more useful question is which schools a given PSLE Score keeps open. A child's score is best compared against the indicative cut-off range of the specific schools they are considering.
